As the daughter of two Hairdressers, Janelle Varada has it in her blood. Her talent and passion have fueled her rise as a sought-after hair colorist and stylist in Beverly Hills.
After completing several degrees in makeup application and color theory, Janelle trained at the prestigious Vidal Sassoon Salon & Academy under the tutelage of Icon and World Class, Annie Humphreys. Fast forward, she was personally hired by Frédéric Fekkai himself because of her talent. There she trained under L’Oréal’s finest Nancy Braun where she learned the art of balayage and mastered color correction and natural looking blondes.
Her keen eye and experience play a critical role in the way she matches a woman’s hair color to her skin tone and eye color — frequently combining several different shades and strategically paints lights and shadows in just the right places keeping hair looking natural.
